Ranked Refresh

We polled our community over the last few weeks to gather input on proposed Ranked changes and whether we should change the game modes that currently populate the Ranked Playlist. We heard your feedback loud and clear, and Takedown was the winner of this month’s poll!

Today we are shifting the Arena Ranked mode from KOTH/DOM/TDM with loadouts to Takedown with even starts (Carbine/Pistol). This change is intended to keep the core arena experience feeling fresh and challenging. Takedown is equally competitive in its own right, and we are excited to see how the players engage with the new Ranked playlist.

Additional Details:

• Your rank will not change, and you will progress the leaderboards the same as before
• There will be no “rank reset”
• Ranked Takedown will have even starts and not customizable loadouts
  • Primary: Cadence Carbine
  • Secondary: Blink Pistol
• Ranked Takedown will be 3v3
